And when THAT time comes, we have some suggestions for you as far as bars and restaurants are concerned.

Bleacher Bar

Boston is all about historical spots and if you are into the sports or baseball scene, making a shortstop at Fenway Park is an absolute must. If there is a game going on, you can catch all the action right there at Bleacher Bar. Granted, the bar is often packed with fans and visitors when there is game happening down the back of the bar, it will feel great to be right there at America’s oldest ballpark with the Sox playing down the field.

Fenway Park was completed in 1912 and over time, it has undergone many renovations and expansions. The result of all that is its many quirky features.

The Lily Pad

1353 Cambridge St
Cambridge, MA 02139
(617) 395-1393

Located about 10 drive away from the main downtown Boston metropolis in Cambridge MA is a nice little small bar and restaurant called The Lily Pad. At this joint, it is all about performing arts be it jazz, tango, classical, rock or comedy. This would be the perfect place to make a charter bus stop if you want to catch the latest indie art, music, performance, band and even chamber music.

The great thing about The Lily Pad is that it is a Boston hidden gem. Unless you know your way around or have some locals along with you (or have a very knowledgeable charter bus driver), it is easy to miss it. But should be guided by the sound of amazing music rushing out at you from Cambridge St.

Shakespeare on the Common

For those who are into Shakespeare’s work, you will find yourself completely at home at Shakespeare on the Common.
